Company Profile

JADEM Enterprises, Inc, dba FDA Tax and Accounting Service, started in September 1999 as a small tax service organization serving individual clients.  We are now a full service professional tax and accounting service serving individuals and businesses.  The director has over 25 years of experience, 18 with IRS, and is an enrolled agent, which allows her to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. From day one our mission was to provide Fast, Dependable, Accurate service.  This is still the case and because of our commitment to professional service, our business has grown.

We are open all year and are known in the neighborhood for doing whatever needs to be done to get the job done.  We provide services that are not listed on our literature on a daily basis to assist with the needs of community residents, such as:  typing a resume, general typing, credit report request, research, e-mail setup and/or retrieval, helping with financial aid forms, preparing power of attorneys, etc.

Each year since 2001 we have opened one or more satellite offices to accommodate our customer base during the tax season.  We are featured in the 2005-2006 Black Pages, which will be available in late 2005.  We currently serve 15 small businesses and four non-profit accounts ranging in income from $75,000 to 1.5 million.

Early on we identified a need for our customers to keep better records.  FDA developed a calendar log for small businesses and individuals who itemize deductions.  Those calendar logs are being used by over 100 of our customers and are now being distributed to other tax offices for distribution.

In addition, because of the humanitarian need in the communities we serve,  FDA-Bridging-the-GAP was started in January 2000 a non-profit 501C3.   We partnered with Angel Food Ministries and serve as a distribution center providing monthly food distribution to senior citizens and others.  We also provide advocacy services for seniors and others when requested.  We adopted Branon Towers Senior Highrise in Atlanta and provided FREE Tax preparation for those and other seniors throughout metro Atlanta.  This is our way of giving back to the communities in which we are located.  Our non-profit is funded by our offices. 

In December 2003 we passed out fruit baskets, in 2004 we hosted a “Senior Gala” for 100 + Senior Citizens in Branon Towers Senior High-rise, and in  2005 and 2006 we gave each senior a card and a gift.  In 2007 we hosted another "Senior Gala."   In addition since 2004 we have prepared taxes for Seniors 65 and above for Free and for Seniors 62 and above 50% off.  We continue to provide advocacy services.

We jokingly say that we did not wait for our ship (Lottery money) to come in, but that we give from the abundance of our paddle boat.
